Parallel circuit
    For the voltage in a parallel circuit across each resistor Is equal to the voltage of the power supply. The voltage across each resistance which is equal to
VR1 = VR2 = VR3 = VR4 = VS = 9V
The current in a parallel circuit
    The current within a parallel circuit has multiple values. This is because there is more than one direction of current flow, so the calculation of current is done using Kerchhoff, s Current Law.

Characteristics of a series circuit

Characteristics of a series circuit

1. In a circuit or any part of a series circuit, current flows only in one direction.
2. The voltage drop across each resistance in the circuit, combined together, is equal to the voltage applied to the circuit.
3. Value of each sub-resistance in the circuit When they are combined, they are equal to the total resistance of the circuit.
4. Power and electrical energy arising at each of the sub resistances in the circuit. Taken together, they are equal to the total power and energy in the circuit.
